We are a small, friendly team committed to bringing you and your horse the best service and facilities possible. Get to know a little bit about us below.
Ellie Fredericks
Chief Equestrian Officer
Ellie is our main rider, and has competed at Advanced and 4* level, with her sights set on 5* events in the future. She is the daughter of Lucinda Fredericks, a winner at Burghley. Badminton and Kentucky, and an Olympic silver medallist too. As well as being a competitive eventing rider in her own right, winning Bicton 2* in 2024 as well as numerous top 10 placings over the last two seasons, Ellie specialises in developing eventing horses, taking them up through the levels and improving their confidence and ability. Ellie is continuing the family tradition with her own eventing and equestrian management journey.
Mark Stamper
General Manager
Mark has a finance background but has somehow been dragged into the world of horses. He is actually allergic to horses but vaguely tolerates them. Ask Mark anything, provided it isn't about horses.
Mimi Jones
Groom
Mimi arrived at Rosegarth in September 2024 as a Working Pupil with her horse Otis. Stepping up to Groom in September 2025, she is embracing all the opportunities that come with living and working here. Mimi and new horse George had a fantastic 2025, ending the season with a successful CCI3*-S run at Cornbury.
Ruby Nightingale
Groom
Ruby joined us as a groom in July 2026. She attended Hartpury College and is also a qualified equine sports therapist. She previously worked at West Kington Stud and has experience riding youngsters through to competition eventers.
Lucinda Fredericks
Coach in Residence
Olympic Silver medallist and winner of the Badminton, Burghley and Kentucky 5* events on her mare Headley Britannia (the only mare to have ever won all 3 of these events), Lucinda continues to be heavily involved in riding and coaching at all levels, and is still regularly to be found at Rosegarth riding her own horses, coaching or providing valuable advice to the management team.
Simon
Head Groundsman
Simon has over 40 years of farming experience and now maintains the grounds and facilities of Rosegarth. He can turn his hand to pretty much anything and is an essential member of the team.
